Richmond specialises in the treatment and management of a number of painful conditions, particularly those that persist.
He spends most of time treating individuals suffering with ongoing spinal (back and neck) pain, arthritic complaints, whiplash injuries, tendinopathy, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, and chronic regional pain syndrome (CRPS).
Having previously worked in sport, and in both NHS and private practices, Richmond has witnessed a wide variety of conditions, across a wide age range. He also works as an editor for the Physiotherapy Pain Association, writing articles on injuries and pain relief. He is currently undertaking research into Achilles tendinopathy.
Richmond is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), the Physiotherapy Pain Association (PPA), the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Private Practice (OCPPP) and the Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
